Steam sales are by far way cheaper than PSN sales will ever be and it can also use other launchers like GOG so there'll be plenty of games for gamers to choose from their libraries.

This is already possible. Just select 'this thread' in the search bar/popup dropdown (default is 'everywhere') and you can search by keyword within a thread. To search by username within a thread, do the same as above but fill in the 'by member'...
