Hacking Switch not recognized by any computer in rcm and mtp

Sorry, disregard what I wrote here earlier, I have updated this post. Since your PC says "USB device not recognized" that means the data lines and USB socket are most likely fine. Have you seen this post...

Why point DNS MITM to 95.216.149.205 instead of localhost?

    https://rentry.org/ExosphereDNSMITM Why can't *conntest.nintendowifi.net and *ctest.cdn.nintendo.net be redirected to 127.0.0.1 instead of 90DNS? Thanks!

Nintendo Switch firmware version 17.0.0 released

Crazy idea: How about inserting a random number instead of making it blank? Is that possible? Edit: Are there checksums that would prevent this from working?

Homebrew RELEASE JKSV (save manager) for Switch

@JK_ Thanks again for everything you have done. The latest release (2.23.2023) has a small bug: In settings, Titel Sorting Type: "Last Played" and "Time Played" are mixed up. You have to select Time Played to actually get Last Played now.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

You are of course free to choose whichever name you like best, but to make it identifiable, you should consider for it to include both "pico" and "fly". If Picofly-Mini is too simplistic for your taste and you like Mc, how about McPicofly?

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Thank you! Is it within your power to fix this one, too? https://gbatemp.net/threads/new-major-updates-made-in-the-3-pikofly-nintendo-switch-modchip-project.628960/

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I wish someone would update the title. Pico is spelled with a C not a K. The misspelling is getting copied elsewhere, too now. @linuxares Could you possibly fix this?

Hacking New major updates made in the $3 Pikofly Nintendo Switch modchip project

@Chary You know, it's Pico with a C, not a K. Would you mind correcting this? It's misspelled in the original topic, too.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Congratulations rehius and thank you! The best thing about this is that the mod chip sellers are screwed now. No more huge markups. Great job everyone!

Can I still get banned on my PSN account?

Sony logs everything you do (we recently learned they collect a huge amount of data) and seemingly keeps those logs forever. So yes, you absolutely could still be banned, if Sony ever wanted to. That's why you should never go online with a hacked Playstation, and never use your legit PSN account...

Is my USB-C port broken? What are the fixes?

In the video he says the M92T36 is responsible for switching between charging and video pass through (at 6:10mins). So it's not the chip causing the problem discussed here? 1673818998 Does that mean the CPU itself is damaged? I wish someone with actual knowledge regarding this would chime in.

Is my USB-C port broken? What are the fixes?

Are you certain that's the chip? Because charging still works.

Is my USB-C port broken? What are the fixes?

Out of interest, do you happen to know which chip needs to be replaced? There is a schematic and list of components for hac-001 in this guide under step 11 and 12 https://www.ifixit.com/Teardown/Nintendo+Switch+Teardown/78263

Is my USB-C port broken? What are the fixes?

It's not the USB port that is broken, it's the chip on the mainboard that controls the data lines. Nintendo cheaped out and didn't install any surge protection, which is why this can easily be damaged. As far as I know there is no inexpensive way to fix this.
