    When I do that nothing happens, it just turns on and opens and closes dvd tray. But I don't think its the red ring of death. there is only a single dot in the middle that shines green. The other four quadrants don't light up.

    I have a modded xbox 360 S with trinity motherboard. It was making weird noises and it temps were going up, so i wanted to change it's thermal paste. After I changed it it didn't boot (I don't know if it booted before because I didn't try to use it around 6 months before changing the paste)...
