    Nope... you got 50/50 you got brick. But really this conversation is 100% hypothetical - if you update to 5.05 there is no AAA except Detroit Become Human that will require update (next is Spiderman). Every game realsed before 25.05.2018 will not require fw higher then 5.05.

    I would say there is no fw update on game disc (you got diffrent answer .... it make me not so sure.. you have to check it.) But update you can only get by PSN.Specific games need specific fw, e.g. GoW = 5.05, Detroit Become Human = 5.50 ; you want run it on lower fw. Stay offline, turn off...
