    Can you select the X with the d-pad? I sadly got rid of my vita long ago, so I can't recall, but I know you can (and must) navigate with the controller for PSTV, which I do have, so figured vita allows it natively too. Wondering if maybe you just have stick drift moving the cursor off the button...

    Sorry, just checking back, but yes I concur. If that section works with targeted touch interactions elsewhere, it's almost certainly a software issue as others have said. Good news is, vita is fairly easy to unhack and rehack imho.

    Haven't done much Vita work, but as far as touch, is it possible it's registering elsewhere on the screen? You could load a drawing app to test. General IT thought is maybe the ribbon cable is slightly disconnected or corroded going to/from the touch controller causing misalignment.
