    To anyone with the same problem, I found that deleting sdmc:/_nds/TWiLightMenu/settings.ini (but not settings.srldr) fixed the poor performance. But now I have to change my configuration back to be the way I want it.

    "Box art/Game covers" is set to "Hide", and the issue persists. I just changed that setting, and the issue persisted. Turns out I had to change the bootstrap version from "Nightly" to "Release". But I get a black screen after the GBARunner2 banner. Looks like it might actually be a BIOS issue...

    Have an app that syncs the DSi's internal clock with an NTP server, then immediately launches another app of the user's choice (such as the system menu or TWiLight Menu++). That way it could be configured in Unlaunch to run on boot every time. Useful for if one takes the battery out often.

    I second that. I find TWiLight Menu ++ to be very reliable software, if a little slow at times. It's like RetroArch; it takes some getting used to, but it is very powerful if you know how to use it.

    Personally I prefer ULGX because it isn't old and broken software. However, if you like the way CFG does things, it's better you make the jump to Wiiflow Lite.
