Ryujinx emulator taken down after devs reach agreement with Nintendo

Said this back on the Yuzu thread. A disappointment to be sure, but a surprise? Nah. The real surprise is this "agreement" he made. Of course we will likely never learn the details of this agreement, but I'd have to assume a job offer of some kind.

Yuzu emulator shutting down, paying Nintendo 2.4 million in lawsuit settlement

They're not praising Nintendo. They're just acknowledging that they're in a losing battle. Plus (and I might be wrong), them saying otherwise might be treated as contempt of court.

Yuzu emulator shutting down, paying Nintendo 2.4 million in lawsuit settlement

I mean Ryujinx also has a Patreon, so I doubt that was the sole factor that led to things getting to this point.

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

The overlay menu would appear even if you had absolutely no cheats loaded in. I'm puzzled why it's not working though; your structure looks identical to mine which does let the menu open regardless of game... EDIT: well I just noticed that there's actually no folder in contents for the game...

You say that, and even acknowledge that you're using his data, yet you're the one insisting that something is wrong with it.

Hacking SWITCH NOOB PARADISE - Ask questions here

@gutoblauth "I think the people you said who got banned by using homebrew made something wrong, they probably wrote some data into their sysNAND by using homebrew." Do you even realize what kind of tightrope you're walking on by insinuating that all the hearsay we've used to rationalize these...

Poll: Does Nintendo need to back down their copyright

That's your problem then, not ours.

Poll: Does Nintendo need to back down their copyright

Easy: because they want to. Project M was literally made because fans didn't like how different Brawl was from Melee and wanted to take matters into their own hands. If your channel is monetized, because if it ain't, newsflash: you ain't making a dime. And I would hardly call only getting...

Poll: Does Nintendo need to back down their copyright

No...? In fact, I'm sick of when people compare shit like CTGP and Project M to Nintendo's games and act like that makes them better than Nintendo. But for just a basic piece of art or a story never meant to rip Nintendo one? Ehhh.... That would apply if someone took a game, made a ROM of it...

Poll: Does Nintendo need to back down their copyright

Because some people just don't want to build projects from the ground up? And other times the end product would just come out better? Especially for games as innovative as Nintendo's, there comes a point at which it's less about protecting your IP and more about you're just upset when someone...

I didn't say anything specifically about emulation though?

Poll: Does Nintendo need to back down their copyright

I think before we entertain ideas or arguments like these we have to realize what Nintendo seems to actually be doing and what the evidence is indicating. And that looks like an extremely aggressive attempt to enforce an image of themselves, essentially to thought police its fans. Because if...

Bloomberg interview reveals Microsoft tried to buy Nintendo once, and got laughed out of the meeting

Uh... what? Nobody's forcing you to double dip. It's your money: you can do whatever the fuck you want with it. But like Draxzelex said, you can't take your own personal situation and attempt to apply it to an entire group. Nintendo is a business and they have to do what makes business sense...

Editorial What does it take for you to lose your faith in a game studio?

Then just say "I don't like the greedy EA games so it turns me off from wanting to try anything from their library".... No need to say something as presumptuous and ignorant as that.....
