    I'd much rather not touch the CTRNand, and I don't have a hard mod. I might just use a cartridge update to fix the broken gateway nand downgrade. I also noticed that I do have a nand backup, but I'm not sure if it is of the downgraded 4.2 firmware or the previous 5.x firmware.

    Hacking Can I Intall A JPN Cia on a ENG 3DS?

    Really? I always thought it just doesn't show up on the home menu when it's not region free but you can still run it in devmenu. That's what I had to do before on some games.
