    I get that, but I still would like to keep the ability to eventually install a CFW, would that be possible if I update the sysmmc? Again, the switch has a modchip soldered on. KInd regards

    Hello everybody, I neglected my Nintendo Switch for a while, here's the situation: EmuMMC with SX OS V3.0.5 CFW 10.1.0 OFW 10.2.0 I would like to get rid of the dead SX OS and switch to Atmosphere. How do I do that? Can you please point me to a guide or something? Kind regards.

    I see your point, but then Gateway basically was using the same entrypoint as free custom firmwares. What I meant by "future proofness" was more oriented to the patchability of said hardware entrypoint that from what I understand the SX-Core is. Please correct me as the purpose of this thread...
