    I think what I'm going to do is attempt to fix it somehow, then if it doesn't work I'll replace for entire board.

    Hmm. If this is the case is there any way it can be repaired? Couldn't I just replace the resistor?

    Not sure if right place to post this, but basically I attempted a hard mod of my 3ds but got cold feet and removed the solder - now it won't boot, I get a blue screen with BOOTROM 8046. It looks like the problem may lie with the bottom connector- did I burn it out? Any help would be appreciated.
