Gaming Problems with Control (game)

Hi,

I've searched high and low and find loads of people having the same problem, but never find an actual solution, so I was wondering if anyone else has had this issue and know of a fix.

Ill start by saying my system is perfectly capable running the game (it runs assassins creed and other recent titles at high spec perfectly fine).

But when I boot this game, first off it wont boot unless i delete renderer.ini file each time.

If i change graphic settings to medium/high/ultra - the game textures look terrible

If i change graphic settings to low they look miles better, but other textures may look terrible too.

Attached are two screen shots, one settings on high, the other on low.

I cant seem to find a solution to why low settings look better.

First off. If you haven't already, make sure Windows Update and your GPU drivers are all up to date. After that:

For the crashing:
Delete the renderer.ini fie, install this, then reboot and see if it fixes the problem.

thanks i tried both and still get the issue with booting, still have to delete renderer.ini

the other link, i didnt have the directory so just placed it in my install directory, i did see some changes but still textures would change from looking high resolution to then blurry.

ive been emailing 505 games and all i get is usual copy/paste faq crap, and they claim to have never heard of any problems with the game, yet a simply google you find loads of people having the same problems but cant find a solid answer.

guess ill ditch the game, maybe get it on ps4 insted.
