Hacking VitaCheat/FinalCheat Database

I've tried a fuzzy search for an unknown value and I've tried increasing the range to 9X ish and still came up with nothing and any results I do get end up changing as I scroll through them. Sometimes I would see the strangest thing with my results. I'm not sure if this is something to do with vitacheats z06 but whenever I get my results, as I scroll through them, 1 or more of their values will change to 7FF8DEAD. Creeped me out the first time I saw it, thought it was an ominous warning lol.

Also do you mean just searching for the actual hex and float value(square) and not the dec.? I can find other things just fine its just this small section of the cheat shop is acting funny.

You're the man. Because of you mentioning Disgaea being segmented, I looked into it on another game, and it works. Which is awesome, since I've wanted codes for it for three years. Thought I had pointers, but they never worked. I'm stoked.

Yeah........looks like I will have MANY Results to go through. I try looking for the Pink Results (90%), and it goes from 1, then 6, then 30, then skyrockets to around 680 possible Results.

You may have to start looking into if it's a game that uses that weird DMA I'm always talking about. If you want, you can zip your dumps and put them on GDrive or something for me and I can take a quick look.

I think you should try. The game I'm working on couldn't deliver any gold or even pink results, and it turns out it's not even DMA, just using segments.

I'm looking through the dumps right now. I don't have the .txt files that show mem segments, but he said he's tried that and it doesn't seem to be the case. Which is too bad, because those make it pretty easy to work with.

I can't seem to find any pattern yet in HxD, either. Nothing stands out that says "Hey, these two aren't like the others"... I thought there were a couple that looked weird because they were about 0x01000000 higher than the others, but they seem like the pointers just happen to have that big of a range.

But, I did do a few searches in TempAR and UPS and got a list of about 600 gold pointers to try. Most of those pointers are duplicates (leading to the same pointer path) and only about 10 or so are unique (not overlapping the other pointers anywhere). So, we've got 10 or so unique pointers that look promising, and 600 others that all worked when I tested them in HxD.

Sounds like you need to find a Pointer code. Give these two videos a look. If you don't understand after that, I'll gladly go into more detail with you.

Next time im going to post codes from all FFX versions as a psv file but before i do that i have to colaborate with Yohoki to solve some little issues. Currently my leisure is limited.

I usually add codes I make myself, and I add codes people message me asking to add. But I don't browser through here looking for codes and trying to add them, and guessing if they're for version 1.0 or 1.10 or if they're nnd or mai.......

I'll also sometime go to the github's Issues page and add codes that have been posted there. But if some one only posts them here, I dunno if they're done or not with them.

Example:mission defend on Gundam Breaker,reactor have only energy bar without any number.

Thank you @Yohoki,i've see this video many times,but i use normal search because i'm not able to use it.
I find the codes works temporarily,and others works definitely.
Before find codes and after i do memory dump,is correct?

hi Guys i just updated my vita from 3.60 enso to 3.65 enso
and i installed vitacheat 3.65 z06.
i tested in rayman origins and it worked nomal and browse memory normally without RED XX.

then i tested in 1001 spikes PCSE00349 v1.00 and when i browse memory it shows RED XX.
HOW i can fix this probem thanks in advance.

Must be either Protected Memory, or when you are in Memory Viewer, you are in a Section that has nothing in it. Have to find Areas where you get Results.
