There are no lootboxes. The crates of random stickers and gear cannot be purchased with real money, only in game currency. Not sure where all that misinformation came from, but ya. No micro transaction loot boxes in the game.

Yes please. I always use my Switch in airplane mode and I can't open crates. Someone please make a way to access the personalization stuff offline!

You can now dl and install the DLC packs and some cosmetic packs by NSP... doubt there will be any way to open crates without a net connection however.

You cannot play any of the dlc packs since the servers are blocked. I installed the jungle and western pack but all gear is greyed out.

You are correct... I hadn't noticed they were greyed out until I tried to play them. Not sure what they think they are accomplishing with this, if I wasn't going to buy it before I sure as hell ain't going to buy it after having a peek at the crazy micro-transaction schemes.
