Anyway.... it wont kill atmosphere - at least not too much.
1 week later all will be good again - like always :P
but sx os will be doomed for a long time i guess... it doesnt seem they care anymore..?

Why you're saying they don't care? There is nothing to add at this point and all is working just fine so there is no need for updates.

Nintendo always chose the best time to update new firmware: before lots of good games launch.

For this month alone, We have these games waiting to launch:

GRID
Creature in the well
Daemon Ex Machina
Castle crashers
Ni No Kuni
Zelda: Link’s awakening
Dragon Quest 11
Ori

Aren't most people using an emummc now? RCM can't ever be patched, so no matter what updates come, you can always homebrew with emunand/emummc. If you don't make a backup of it every now and then (thus negating any "my kid updated and I was on emunand!" problems), then shame on you. Then again, shame on you if your Switch is online in emunand without Ninty servers being blocked...
