ok so verified that the licence file is being read correctly and is working.

and this is on a FRESH formatted SD card, all new install files etc?

if you look in the SX folder on the SD card, does it have any emuNAND files in there already? IF this is a fresh card, then it should not. If there are emuNAND files in there, back them up to PC and then delete them.. then put SD card back in Switch, boot to SX OS launcher and go to OPTIONS and try to create new emuNAND as files on the SD Card (fat32 split files).

Once the files are created, from memory you need to reboot and the go into the SX OS launcher again to enable them - you cannot create and enable them in the same boot (I seem to recall having that issue).
So i have made a new clean emunand with another micro sd card , i installed the Atelier 1.0.4 update to check that the problem wasnt that.
And it turns out it wasnt , i can enter emunand the option is enable and i can see it from the menu that it is enable .
So wich folders , would i have to copy from the sdcard with the issue , to have all the saves and installed update that i had before into the new sd card ?
Because @Hayato213 , wrote that the saves and installed updates : It will be gone as they are linked to that Emunintendo folder.

Can i recover those saves , from the corrupted micro sd card and make them work ? or is it useless ?

Both on 7.0.1 and after the error the Emunand option was gone , and when I enter to Sxos , you have the Emunand legend and it was not , besides I had white screen for Emunand disable and black screen with Emunand enable , so when the switch restarted I noted that something was wrong
you should create emunand on a hidden partition, that way, anything outside the hidden partition goes wrong, it won't affect the hidden emunand

Do you know i have created the first time on hidden partition but i had the 6.2 version not the beta , so when the installation process was done , i had an error and it just wouldnt boot up , i and read that Sxos had problems with hidden partiton . Thats why i created the emunand on the on the sd card , but tomorrow im going to try it again on hidden partition now that i ve got the 6.2 bet maybe that would work thing out . Thanks for the help !!

I am not sure why some people was having problems with hidden partition, but everything works fine on mine
if my microsd files got corrupted, I just format it and reinstall some of the games, the hidden emunand and save file were not affected at all

glad it's working for you.. from memory the emuNAND files are in the SX folder, the installed NSP files etc. go in the emutendo folder.

it's your choice as to hidden partition or files on SD card.

hidden partition:

Pro - technically less chance to be corrupted due to unfinished file writes to the data partition
Con - difficult to backup and restore, see here for directions how to do it - https://gbatemp.net/posts/8602506
Neutral - upgrading to a larger SD card? easiest is to image the entire SD card using DD under Linux, then write the smaller SD image to the bigger SD card, then resize the data partition with gparted in linux.

emuNAND as files on SD (fat32 formatted partition recommended):

Pro - easy to backup to PC, just copy all the files in the SX\os\emunand folder.
Pro - easy to restore a previous emuNAND copy if you accidentally delete something, just copy the files back from your PC
Pro - upgrading your 64GB SD card to a larger card? Just format the SD card and COPY your emuNAND files to the new card - all saves and profiles copied across in one go.
Con - backups are only useful as to how often you do them (ie: if you only backup the first time you create the emuNAND then say goodbye to all your save games etc.)
Con - technically the emuNAND files could be corrupted due to bad file writes to the SD card (Fat32 will lessen the chance of errors though).

Well Emunand on Hiden partition failed again i have 7.0.1 and sxos 2.6.2 beta . formated the micro sd card on fat 32 , copied the boot and license files , enter Sxos mode and begin Emunand process after it was finished i went back on the sxos menu and started cfw with emunand enable , everything runs fine , so i turn off the switch , place the jig and the dongle , and have the message Boot.dat ?
i Check the microsd card the boot.dat file and license are there and also Emutendo and Nintendo folder .
I copy and replace the boot.dat and license just to check , and still the boot.dat missing message .
This doesnt happend with Emunand created in micro sd card , withe another microsd card same size also Scandisk Sxos Runs Just fine .
Any clues ??

it could be bad microsd,
could you load sx os with emunand disabled?

Nope not at all , i start and get boot.dat ? message . Ive just read in another thread that this happends to another guy as well .
I have 2 64 gb micro sd cards scandisk , i have tried on both emunand in a non hidden partition works great , but when emunand is created on hidden partition after i turn off the switch i turn it back on , all i got is the boot.dat ? message

if you still get that error after disabled emunand, it be bad microsd where real spaced had all been used up by the hidden emunand partition, well just guessing

have you installed a lot of games on the microsd before like 20+GB?
and they are all working?

I cant disable emunand because after emunand is created and i restart the switch got inmidiatly the boot.dat message .
its like this .
micros sd card formatted on fat 32 , after emunand is created on sd card partition work great .

micros sd card formatted on fat 32 , after emunand is created on HIDDEN PARTION after i restart the switch the only thing i get is boot.dat i cant access any to any menu ,

because hidden emunand uses 32GB, if the microsd is fake then it will not be able to read any more real space

Do yourself a favor and grab a copy of H2testw app, doesn't matter if you got it from a good supplier or you think they are good, you will be surprised.

H2testw will do a thorough test on your SD CARD and it will tell you if your SD CARD's are fake or not. Back in the day, I went through a few 400GB SD CARD from a reliable source, 2 were fake and 3rd one was good, as I got them to run the test, turns out they received a mixture of fake and real stock, the real size of the fake 400GB I had was 64GB.

doing it 1 hour 10 minutes remaing and i will let you know the results

@matias3ds I know it's a hassle.. but you had emuNAND working?

If you really want hidden partition emuNAND then make a backup of the working SD image so you can easily go back (if you dont have multiple SD cards that is).

also I highly recommend FORMAT THE SD CARD IN THE SWITCH, NOT THE PC.

Saves a lot of stuffing around I've found.

i had the sdcard formated on the switch , and the first time i had this error it was not problem at all because emunand in a non partition format was working great until , i was playing a geme trough the external hdd and have the black error to restart the switch .
So i restarted as any other time , but i realized that the emunand enable disable option was gone , somehow the micro sd card got corrupted i can no longer enter into emunand , thats when i found out that if i made emunand on a hidden partition , the hidden partition cant be corrupted .

Warning: Only 59607 of 59608 MByte tested.
Test finished without errors.
You can now delete the test files *.h2w or verify them again.
Writing speed: 14.4 MByte/s
Reading speed: 18.9 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4
Seems the card works just fine

Did you ran it empty with no file on it?

@Hayato213 @gizmomelb @dsrules @xs4all thank you for help and assitance , i finally solve the issue . Instead of keep trying with the 2 micro sd 64gb cards that i bought at the same place ( a gaming store not very reliable ) , i decided to try one last time with a 128 gb Microsd card that i had bought from BestBuy .
Guess what ,,, IT WORKED in the hidden partition !!!!
The other 2 cards does have 64 gb zise and work when the emunand is on a non hidden partition ,but when emunand is created in a hidden partion they have the boot.dat? message maybe they are not scandisk originals , i dont know why .
And i hope Tx can solve the issue in those cards in the next update .
