Is the local option for LAN play? It doesn't appear to be local wireless. Anyone got it working? It's not working for me and my brother.

Must be a pre-pre-order :)
(have you tried to google TITAN QUEST XCi and press the first link going to a land of 1s0 ?)

Yes the option is in the beginning it lets you choose from local co op,online co op, and couch co op. But if you are banned you wont be able to play online. Only local online.

I'm going to ask the same thing I asked the other person. Have you tried it?

Why people keep telling me about the menu items when I've clearly launched the game myself? I have no idea. But anyway, I got it working. Thanks for all your replies.

Works fine for me with no problems by just choosing local co op multiplayer.

Can someone tell me if "local Multiplayer" works through router (your own LAN) or through some peer 2 peer ad-hoc wireless connection?
I was thinking about setting up VPN and bridge my and distant friend's network so we can play local co-op games.

It's LAN like the title says.

Looks better from what I remember 10 years ago.

I got bored with it really fast, everything was so small. And don't tell me to dock it because at that rate I can just play the PC version I got on Humble for free.

Though this question was basically answered, to be completely clear:
To play on more than one Switch locally they both need to connect to a local WLAN. There is no Ad- hoc.
Note, if your phone can be a WiFi hotspot that works as a WLAN just as well for playing away from home.
