Hello guys, i just released a new version of the Injector, this tiem its just a standalone of the NDS v1 BETA. It has 7 more base roms to choose from and also the ability to add a custom base rom. Also some bugs are fixed. as the name states, its still a beta so expect a few bugs here and there. Download

Thanks for the fast reply. WinRar did work. I don't understand the problem with 7zip. I prefer 7zip because it is free. I've always used it, hundreds of times with no problems. I even just tested it with a different rar archive with no problems. Seems pretty strange, but thanks again, I got the files unrared.

Thanks for your earlier help. Sorry to bug you again, but I'm having trouble using your Injector. I have a few questions.
1) When I select the GBA Injector, it opens the new window, and the BaseROM is already selected but all I did is look at a ROM in Wii U USB Helper of a GBA game I own, and automatically shows up as the Base ROM, I didn't download anything. Is this normal? Do there have to be files for the base rom and how would you select a different one?
2) When I selected the download tab and entered the keys and clicked download, it went through the whole process of downloading and appeared to be successful, but I can't find where the ROM is located.
3) Then I clicked on Injection, but nothing would happen when I clicked Choose ROM, so I manually downloaded and installed Python 3.5.4_rc1 and PyYaml 3.12. Then I clicked on Choose ROM again, and it did some install and the selection window popped up, but I didn't know where the ROM was saved from the previous step, so I went back to the Download tab.
4) At the download tab, I tried re-downloading it to see if maybe I could see where it was downloading to in the cmd window, but now it won't download at all saying that Java is either out of date or not installed. It worked the first time, and I have the latest Java 1.8, I did a -version check. When Python installed, it asked if I should set the path and I said yes. I thought this could be the issue, so I went into my Windows Environment var and added Java vars with path but it still won't download again.

I'm sure you are busy and I hope these are not annoying noob questions. Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I've experimented a bit and here is more info,
First I noticed that the BaseROM that was already there when I first launched the program is named slightly different. Instead of a "&" it has the word "and".
I found the Title of the ROM I want to inject here:C:\Users\BlahBlah\Downloads\GBABETA1\Tools\GBA\Tools\JNUSTool\Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga [PAEE01], and a second folder with the same path but missing the "&" symbol, but I don't see a file to select as the ROM when I click Choose ROM. Could this "&" symbol in the title be the problem?
Also if I delete the folder with the "&", and go back to the Download tab and click download, it does something instead of immediately throwing the java error. It actually re-downloads the folder, then gives the Java error, so is the problem that it just won't do some final conversion step because it thinks Java is not installed?
Also if I delete both folders with and without the "&" and then restart the app, the BaseROM name with the word "and" is still there. If I select it and go to the Download tab, it downloads the file WITHOUT a Java error like the very first time I tried. Also if I exit and start the program again, then if I don't click the BaseROM and go to the next tab, download, instead of asking for the Title Key it says select BaseROM. If I go back and click it on the previous tab and go back to download, it wants the Title Key for it, but I was trying to switch to try downloading a different ROM, Super Mario World, which I also own, to see if it is just the Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga title, but it doesn't download because it is asking for the Title Key for the BaseROM, which is still Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga. I still don't understand how you change the BaseROM. It is set to the Mario and Luigi Superstar Saga, and I don't even know how that is, I never selected it or downloaded it.

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

Sorry for the two long posts, I thought the more info the better. Thanks again for your time in developing this and helping with issues.

thanks fort all that info, for the first things i got no idea why it auto selects since i never implemented that feature wierd. the java check i will normally jsut remove and add a disclaimer do download it or it aint work.

With the base rim stuff i already found a way to fix it, which i added at the nds standalone, which is i use & but idk why i didnt use it there. I got one possible solution for the mario thing tho, cause for the gba injector thats currently the only base rom i have supported

Thanks again for the reply, and thanks for your support. By the way, I'm a software engineer with a lot of experience in supporting users. My main peeve is when I don't get very much info, just "it doesn't work". So I may overcompensate when giving technical info. (Also when I did resolve an issue, I often would hear nothing back! Silence usually meant success!) Did I understand this right? Are you saying that the Base Rom you included in the GBA VC Injector is "Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga" the very same ROM I am trying to download? That didn't occur to me would be a huge coincidence! I didn't mean it auto selects, just that it is automatically there, and was the ROM that I was trying to download. If I don't click it, on the download tab it asks me to select a BaseROM instead of asking for the title key. But when I select it, it only wants the title key for that BaseROM, if I try to put in any other Title Key, it passes the TitleKey check, but fails with an exception and a Java error msg when clicking download.

Like I mentioned before, in the BaseROM tab, it has the word "and" instead of the symbol "&" from the actual game title. When I download it the first time with no error messages, the folder created in GBA/tools/JNUSTool is named "Mario Luigi Superstar Saga [PAEE01]", with no word "and" or symbol "&". And like I said before, the Java error doesn't happen until the second time I try to download it, which produces a second folder in JNUSTool with a slightly different name which includes the symbol "&", "Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga [PAEE01]", and the Java error. As I said, if I delete both folders, the Java error goes away until the second download again. So I am seeing three different variations of the title.

Can you tell me what file should be selected as the ROM on the Injection tab? What should the file type be and the location? Thanks again for your support.

yo sorry for the alte answer, the issue is with java that it tries to move the folder "Mario & Luigi ..." to "Mario Luigi ..." but that folder already exists and has files in it so it cannot voerwrite it. the and i just put cause i didnt knew & would display &. you need to select a rom with the type being .gba, doesnt need to be somwhere special

First of all, thank you very much for creating this! Now, I'm having a problem with the DS injection. After putting the WiiU common key and the New Super Mario Bros. Title key, I click on download but a java window open and close instantly and nothing happens! What sould I do? The program says both are valid keys. Thank you!

EDIT: Nevermind. Reinstalling the Java fixed the problem.

maybe try with a different version if java, if this doesnt work, use a custom base.

NicoAICP, this injector is AWESOME! Thank you very much!

BTW, is there any .tga catalog where we can download the image files for NDS games?

The other thing is, is there any problem if I inject an EUR .NDS file into a USA NDS VC game?

Thank you!

Having an issue creating a SNES inject of Fire Emblem Genealogy of the Holy War (translation patched). I go through all the steps, but after it prompts me to type in a product key and confirm by typing "Y" the command prompt goes through the download process but eventually just closes itself out with nothing in the output folder

Hi,

I tried downloading the source from Github and building using VS 2017, but when I tried clicking anything inside the main program it threw up an exception. Looking through the code in VS, it looks like the launcher is trying to load injection scripts from /Tools/(CONSOLE_NAME)/(CONSOLE_NAME)Injector.exe, which were not included in the project files.

Am I missing something? I've tried rebuilding and batch building, but from performing searches in the project file the only mention of a 'Tools' folder is when it's being called to load the exe's from.
