Hacking Best method to test NAND backup.

Just wondering if their is a good way to try loading a nand backup without actually restoring it. I want to make sure it's a good backup as I did it quite some time ago when my system was clean.

your gonna brick your switch doing that
 
the idea is you make a nand back up and you put it away for the day you may need it, not for testing purposes
 
mount it with hacdiskmount
if it fails, then guaranteed that your nand backup is bad. however if it successfully mounted, I still can't guarantee it's fine to restore :lol:

I do remember it correctly mounting with hacdiskmount. I guess that's the the best way from what I have seen.
