Hacking Best method to test NAND backup.

Just wondering if their is a good way to try loading a nand backup without actually restoring it. I want to make sure it's a good backup as I did it quite some time ago when my system was clean.

That's why I'm asking if their is a good way to test it....

the idea is you make a nand back up and you put it away for the day you may need it, not for testing purposes

mount it with hacdiskmount
if it fails, then guaranteed that your nand backup is bad. however if it successfully mounted, I still can't guarantee it's fine to restore

I do remember it correctly mounting with hacdiskmount. I guess that's the the best way from what I have seen.

Take your nand backup with hetake ctcaer. It got an option to validate your backup.

Ill have to try that. Thanks for the response. I haven't use Hekate for awhile so I wasn't 100% sure all the features.
