It is very likely patched. Please read the TL;DR next time, we don’t know more then it is already gathered in the OP post.

It will probably be on 4.1.0, and Fusée Gelée will probably work.

@Inguy193, normally it should be ok if you refer to the first post.

Can someone please help me check this? Thanks

If you don't care about being able to downgrade back to 3.0.1, then it is safe for you to connect to the internet and update to 5.1.0 normally. Fusée Gelée will still work.

If you want to be able to downgrade back to 3.0.1 later, you can update to 5.1.0 using ChoiDujourNX. However, you will have to keep AutoRCM installed. This means your device will always coldboot into RCM.

how about XAJ100018??
It will probably be on 1.0.0, and Fusée Gelée will probably work.

I am trying to understand this so I can update my info to this. I am going to buy an unpatched switch following the serials posted, and share my results later. I am confused with this though? If I have an unpatched switch can I immediately update to 5.1.0 and still be unpatched or does the firmware patch the exploit, and how do I go about this? I am extremely confused with this whole unpatched fusee gelee exploit thing.

If it's unpatched then it's unpatchable... Fusee Gelee happens before the Switch even starts up so no update can fix it, only being patched in the factory

XAJ40053X not safe to buy, probably patched. Thanks for reading the OP carefully.

I'd argue that the information box is conclusive informations. In your case it is derived form an unpatched XAJXAJ400520 and a XAJXAJ400541 that was patched.
I'm not saying the OP post knows everything in this regard, but the OP post knows really everything in this regard. Of course, if someone would read your post,
decides to post their serial here because it is close to yours, you'd had a slightly better picture, but it would be only one data point and the statement "Maybe patched, maybe not"
would still hold.
If "asked to see if anyone would know" referred to someone who definitely know if yours it patched or not, this thread would be pointless.
This is my opinion; yes, the OP dosen't know everything, but I'm certain it knows that has been gathered by the community at this point.

I apologize if this comes down as a bit rude as well as my previous answer, it was not targeted at you, but rather at all the people who ignore the first post.

I can confirm to you that my friends switch was NOT patched.

Picked up a XAW700166

It is below XAW700167 which is confirmed unpatched.

It showed up on 4.1.0. Any idea if it is patched or not? Thanks.

Can anyone please help me with these serials?

1) XAJ40000031314
2) XAJ40000029762
3) XAJ40000031260
4) XAJ70000131479
5) XAJ40030999059

I am a bit confused. Could it be because switch is not too popular in my region? I believe 4 is the oldest and has the highest chance of being in low fw but not sure.

Thanks
