Sending any reports or blocking reports would be a reason for a possible ban flag. Firmware and fuse blown, games require firmware updates but not updated, homebrew use, nsp use, clean report with incorrect firmware to console release. There are many reasons for flags and reports not just error reports.
Use any unofficial software and expect a ban.
?

Atmosphere can be used on latest firmware so those data is not fake. The block would supposed to mask homebrew use. Are you sure this block doesn't block the flags and reports you implied?

“Because reports are not sent to the erpt sysmodule, this disables all crash report related telemetry.”

Wait, would this mean that any error logs won’t be sent to Nintendo? Would this help fix some of the ban problems/people who were banned for just using homebrew (not backups)?
unless fake reports are generated and sent to nintendo i imagine that they'll ban you for not sending the logs (or even empty logs)

This works on all firmwares.

Also do people realise the features you see in reinx / hekate are all born from this?

Looking forward to the massive flexibility of this. Many many uses. Hopefully one entry point.

Atmosphere works on all firmwares? Ohh right I get you so its like that coldboot stuff they mean won't work on higher firmware.

What an ungrateful task to be a cfw developer. All those kids making stupid remarks... It seems like most people here are completely clueless how open-source software works.

Their cfw is open which in return makes it possible to use other open-source software as well. Besides that, those comments saying they were born already dead or beaten... C'mon?
All cfws are benefiting from their works. SX OS, ReINX, etc. They have different aims, quit acting like a child.

See now I would have thought NAND redirection a 1st priority in that it would provide an offline environment for homebrew use. I know I sure as hell wouldn't risk using a cfw online, so that there has been no work toward that yet is honestly more than a little puzzling.

Unless Atmosphere can change Switch UI for custom theme, ReINX is clearly more superior with anime bootscreen.

You can tell there's no hype for atmosphere
After hours of this thread opening there's only 3 pages

That says a lot

The only advantages ReiNX/SX OS have over this are sigpatches and a backup loader.
Atmosphere will be much more feature-complete in the long-run, while Rei's stuff has always aimed to be minimal. Though I could see SX implementing some of these features.

But honestly I think it's a pretty fair assumption that a fork of Atmosphere will be made which includes both sigpatches and a means of loading backups, and that it will become the standard similarly to how Luma did in the 3DS scene.
