Homebrew Question N64 emulator

i know its not exactly related but what is the official (or best) homebrew app that you can browse homebrew to download/install.

i have switch appstore but most of the emulators dont even boot, is there anything better?

I am looking mainly to get PS1/MD/GBA running on the switch.

The emulators on the switch store aren't complete, you need to do some work to get them to work,

There's any n64 emulator for the switch?
There is in lakka.tv. It is a version of Linux that you can boot off your sd card, but it causes battery calibration issues and there is no sound. In order for n64 and higher to be available through Homebrew, openGL or Vulkan needs to be implemented.

i have psnes which runs great, but how do you get cheat support, i can see on the sd when i booted it created a cheats directory.

what are the best emulators for the switch so i can look for them, atm switch titles (no shock) are very limited so i want to use it as a retro machine.

Psnes and pfba are both great. I know there are several gba emulators, as well as a jaguar and megadrive emuatkr that I have not used. Eduke3d and chocolate doom are also good if your into that. However I recommend against just using it as a retro machine. There are many other devices for that with much more compatibility, and the switch first party title are soooo good. Do yourself a favor and pick up Mario odessey and BOTW. Emulators are great (and free) so I use them too, but make sure you also have plenty of switch games to play as well.

Lakka has tons of emulators including N64 and PSX that work great, but there's no sound, which sucks. We've had Linux on Switch for months and still no working audio.

I know there's a WIP PSX emulator that runs pretty well loaded from the homebrew menu, but last I heard it still didn't have any sound either.

I have BOTW when the console launched and think the game is terrible.

I was bored for months then got Mario which as usual repetitive same old rinse repeat.

the switch has yet again become the same old nintendo system with next to nothing worth to play, so might aswel get some use out of it emulating for a while before it goes back in to storage.
