Save editing is cool, it only screws around with the progression system, anyone against it isn't being realistic. If you hack within the limits of the game, you're doing fine. At worst, you're "ruining the fun" which is a real YMMV situation.
Piracy is a grey area- It ain't stealing. You're fucking over developers, but you're not really fucking over consumers, so it's still a minority issue. If you wanna be honest and buy overpriced games, go ahead, you're a better person than me and I freely admit it.
Hacks like this where you fuck with other people? Yeah, that's a great way to ruin everyone's fun. It ruins everyone's fun except yours. A media pirate doesn't affect anyone other than developers and rich assholes. A save editor only indicts a game's progression system, because if it didn't suck, people wouldn't save edit. Real-time hacks just kill games and come from the most selfish of people.
I'm not going to tell you to go away, insult you, or even try to make you not use them. But don't lump me in with you. Save editing hurts nobody except elitists who hate that their efforts to be special have gone away. Piracy damages the future of gaming, but I still buy games, and way too many of them for my income. I know I'm being a heel, but only... like... a level 4 heel. Nobody is really being hurt by me doing this. You're ruining the experience for 100% of the people you play with.
