I might pick it up because it seems like the only good game besides Zelda and Mario Kart that we who don't update can play.

it's an awesome series started back on PlayStation 2, if you're into SRPG, don't miss this title as it's cool to play Disgaea on the go. The only real drawback may be a sometimes rude sense of humor, but me personally love it, dood.

Look for reviews if you're still in a doubt: http://www.opencritic.com/game/4232/disgaea-5-complete

it is a pretty entertaining JRPG.

tactical so much fun, you can change the battle speed/skip (or speed up) skill animations.
and you have soooo much content in the game!

you even get all the DLC that was came for the ps4 version.
Disgaea games are ridiculously fun and can be long if you just play /grind or go leveling some items etc.

it is a great game.

Probably the only tactics game that's open-ended. You could complete the story mode with just the main character, or you could create one of every class and level them all up to level 9999, and then after that level up their equipment to 9999 also in the item world (this portion of the game is like a tactical dungeon crawler). There are other things like convincing the senators to vote on different "laws" that do things like extra money/exp in battles to unlocking new classes.

It's really, really great! I'm a first-time player and I picked it up when I bought my Switch and so far I'm loving it to all hell! The game mechanics are copious and very deep, and there is a LOT of content to keep you busy for hundreds of hours. It's really over the top and probably the best tactical RPG I've played. The story is also entertaining, and is basically a parody of a lot of Japanese manga/anime tropes. The game is also self-aware and pretty funny at times.

You can probably read a review to get a grip on the gameplay, but let me tell you something else -- It's practically meant for the Switch. Seriously, this game is fun in 5 minute bursts or 5 hour bursts. You can take your Switch with you and whip it out for a few minutes like a mobile title and then relax at home and enjoy it for hours on end. In addition, it's very light on the battery. I get a solid 5 to 5.5-ish hours on full brightness with airplane mode off. That's impressive! Plus, the UI looks clean and nice on the portable screen. Honestly, this game doesn't feel like it fits on PS4. The UI, the gameplay, everything just works so much better on a portable system.

In all, I highly recommend this title. It's one of the best games on the Switch currently.
