So after I got home and started using my n3ds browser on 11.3
it gave me the update nag and even after running ctr-httpwn it-
still gave me the update nag and won't go away is there any-
way to block it?

He's talking about the browser nag, not a home menu update nag.

@LogicIsHansom: You cannot bypass a broswer nag once you first get it. Your only option is to upgrade to 11.4, though I would strongly recommend installing A9LH while you're on 11.3 if you have not done so already.
Ah, ok

As has already been mentioned, it is highly recommended that you follow the above guide to install A9LH and CFW.

Well shiz this is just great I have feared this day would come but isn't there-
a way to like update parts of the 3ds system I heard it somewhere before.

Also, quick question, why do you want to use the 3DS browser?
What kind of question is this? To access webpages on the 3DS, I imagine. Even so, why would it matter?

There's virtually nothing wrong with updating to 11.4 if you have A9LH, as long as you make a NAND backup beforehand. Downgrading individual components of the 3DS system isn't recommended.

Well I have certain homebrew apps that haven't been updated yet and will probably break if I update it
but I guess I'll do it just one question would luma stop working after updating or not?

I have heard that some apps through the HBL don't work, but if any don't work, just run things as a cia or find an alternative. Anything installed as a cia will work.

Of course not. Just make sure Luma is updated before performing a system update. I also strongly recommend making a NAND backup before updating.

Okay thank you for telling me.
