Hacking [Request] A9LH brick

May be he assume that once you finish A9LH, he won't need that file forever (which the guide already tell him that it's not true).
Well, I remember some hardmoder refer about plain text attacking which can help this console recover since the only part that broken is FIRM0/1.

Unfotunatly, I can't remember that guy's name.

If you launch into A9LH or DecryptWIP9 than click sysNand backup/restore you will restore your 3ds to where it was when you backed it up

Have you even attempted launching into A9LH also are you on 11.3

I have attempted launching into every thing i could, even Nintendo's recovery mode. Also i am on 11.3, why?

Hardmod won't work on 11.3 Nintendo essentially made it impossible to restore your backup through hardmod due to patching fasthax and some other hacks in that update

if you have a nand backup restore it with hourglass9.. btw 3ds with arm9loderhax + luma3ds wont boot without sd card.. maybe something wrong with your sd card??

No. Hardmod *downgrade* won't work on 11.3.

If you have a full NAND backup, a hardmod *can* be used to restore the NAND backup.

Oh Sorry i did not backread.. just like GerbilSoft said a hardmod nand resore would be the last resort

Ok, thank you Gerbil, i have been told that it is impossible, that it is possible with a hardmod, and i can simply boot into hourglass nine. Thank you for telling me which one is correct

3DS doesn't have any sort of downgrade protection aside from the NATIVE_FIRM requirement. That's why a full NAND restore still works.

Wii U and Switch, on the other hand, *do* have downgrade protection, sort of like what's on certain Android phones. Basically, they write an "expected OS version" value into SEEPROM (Wii U; probably something similar for Switch), which isn't part of the eMMC (NAND). Since that isn't restored, the expected OS version won't match, resulting in a boot error.
