I would suggest not to call unless you have some way to defend your case, like you bought the game etc

Well you could say that you got a pre-release copy. And I don't think they would do something even if you told them that you pirated it.

Any way to find out if its temp or perm?

I mean, I don't really care either way, I rarely play online anyway, mostly locally.

We believe its the device ID or mac address. Currently there is no 100% unban method but people are working on one.

edit: people have also mentioned something about the cert file being responsible for this.

I don't know. You can check periodically. People mentioned maintenance, there was server maintenance on Monday, I guess the bans were slowly coming out of that. I emphasize that I "guess" this to be the case.

Sounds like you just got a regular ban then. They have been temporary in the past but we don't know for sure if that's the case this time.

If 2812 is banning on a mac level, would changing out the wifi card for a new mac address work? Well, you'd have to make a new NNID/Get a new serial number too though
