Hacking Transferring sky3ds saves to gateway

I was using pokemon art academy on a sky3ds on 9.2 sysnand and now i want to transfer the save to use it in gw mode on 11 emunand in .3ds format.

Can anyone tell me how?

What i did but did not work:
Extract the save from sky3ds using diskwriter, save1 option; rename the .sav to titleid and put it in the root of the 3ds sd card.

Heres the thing... the sky3ds dosent work in gw emunand, no games appear. And i go in jksm with sky3ds on, and it says no ds support.

I have never heard of it not working in a emunand, but I have never tried one so I wouldn't know.

i tried and it dosent show up in cartrige slot.

What about trying a 3dsx save manager started on sysnand through the hbl

Edit: it worked somewhat.

Try classic mode - it used to be to play cartridges you had to be in classic mode and the Select menu would not work.
