Homebrew Oot3dHax on 11.0?

They mean that trying to use the installer to OOT3D hax using the current version of things has the same failure rate as trying to use the old version of OOT3Dhax to launch the HBL, since it's the equivalent issue in the opposite direction, to put it simply.

but why wont the installer work when i try to install. i only get the yellow bottom screen and black upper screen no matter what i do

I think they mean don't use the oothax installer in the starter.zip That one uses the online payload downloader, they want you to download the newest hax files and payload and inject it manually by having them on the sdcard along with the oothax installer that won't download from the app but use the updated files you put in the folder.

Did i make sense?

I think if you have the hax save already on the game, it won't need to be replaced.
Just select the one that is for your system firmware and select download otherapp.
Rename it "Payload.bin" then use savemanager to inject into game (Same directory as Save00.bin)

Ummm have the boot.3dsx on the root of your sdcard at the time of Loading homebrew?

Also i hear mashing the a button when loading the file helps make it work.
I never had to do that to be honest.

I've tested that using the latest HBL and payloads, it won't work for an 11.0.0-33e console without custom firmware. The thing that needs to be updated for it to work is probably 2.8 *hax or a new version of the HBL, but neither exist yet.

If you don't mind trying repeatedly until you luck out and ASLR coincidentally picks the same address space as pre-11.0, you can eventually get it to work, but unless that happens, you need to wait for updates.

Weird.. @configchan said it only happens with OOT3D on 11.0 so I guess your out of luck?
i give you. its still giving the yellow screen
You cannot install the new OoThax from an 11.0 console due to ASLR. You must get a pre-11.0 console (or one with CFW) and install the new 11.0 payload to OoT from that.

However, you could keep trying if that's your only option, as there is a small chance that it will work from an 11.0 console, but that chance very small.

He said he gets the yellow screen and it freezes, i think it tried to load homebrew loader but failed, the loader doesn't always load for some reason, so the hax must be working, is just the homebrew loader failing.
