Hello

Quick question. I installed RxTools CFW on my USA 3DS a while ago. It is currently running on 9.2 emuNAND. Is it safe for me to update the emuNAND to the latest version (10.?)

Thanks in advance

Make sure your Nands are unlinked first. Latest FW is 11.0, and yes, rxTools does support that. Still, you should consider switching, because rxTools is no longer being worked on. It could stop supporting newer firmwares.

Edit: Also, you should always update via system settings, and never when prompted. Chances are that otherwhise you update your sysnand.

Yes, the NANDs are unlinked (meaning I have formatted my sysNAND). I have yet to update my emuNAND, however. Thank you for your reply

Could you let me know of some new CFW's for a USA o3DS? I haven't been keeping in touch with developments in the 3DS scene lately

you should consider luma as an alternative easy to install especially since you already have an EMUNAND no need to create another one just copy and past menuhax files

So what you are saying is that if I use Luma, there is no need to backup EmuNAND and reinstall it?

I just put the Luma files into Menuhax and it should start up into emuNAND without any of my games being changed or deleted, correct?
Yes, emuNAND is independent of CFW.
