This runs on LPP-3DS. It is based on my EasyRPG 3DS Updater: RE.

This tool allows you to download the latest version of Corbenik/Skeith CFW to your 3DS directly.

It supports different payload paths than arm9loaderhax.bin or arm9loaderhax_si.bin. To do so, check the location of your payload (imagine it is SD:/somedirectory/somefile.bin).

Create a file on the root of the SD Card called "corbenik-updater.cfg" and write "/somedirectory/somefile.bin" without the quotes.

For the Skeith Updater, the name of the config is /skeith-updater.cfg .
To use Skeith Updater and for more info, check the GitHub page.

A CIA has been built. It can be found on the gs2012.xyz page for this project.

Requires DSP for BGM.

Special thanks to:

@Rinnegatamante for Lua Player Plus 3DS and help

@Crystal the Glaceon for testing and screenshot :)

Weird, I might have made a syntax error. I'll check it.
EDIT: Ughh it's leftover code from EasyRPG Updater.

K, updated the CIA and 3DSX versions, *should* work now.

By the way, can you post a screenshot of the home menu? With the banner, icon, etc?

will there be an updater to update the updater if an update for the updater comes out ?
Then we would need an updater to the updater of the updater, in case the updater to updater needs updating.
maybe so. kappa.

Anyway, I'll eventually allow the updater to update itself.
This seems more practical. Just like StarUpdater does it. :D

This takes WAY too long to extract for this to be usable.
Also, despite having a link to a custom path, it overwrote my "arm9loaderhax.bin"
I'll have to check that out.

Fixed, on the site, can't upload it to Temp right now.

EDIT: Also, N3DS should now run at 804MHz, that might make it faster on the n3DS. o3DS will be the same speed though.

Hey there. Could you give this a try again using this new CIA? It now uses a different title ID (I forgot I was using LPP's ID, so I changed that. Anyway, this version should run at 804MHz (not sure if before I forced it it automatically used 804) on the New 3DS, which might make unzipping faster. Also, it *should* have support for custom arm9loaderhax.bin path fixed now, and it should detect whether you have updated to the latest version or not (if it detects the latest version, it'll go much faster, noticeably so).

If you can try it, I'd like to know if it correctly creates the folder /corbenik-updater and the file cfw-rel.cfg. I can't test it atm.
