Homebrew Update 11.0 and Homebrew

The only option for downgrading you have right now would be a hardmod. But there are some reliable members on here who would be happy to do it for you for $20 or so. If all your interested in right now is userland homebrew, just wait a little longer. I may or may not have something planned.

Im not keen on hardmod as i want to keep the hardware intact.
I'm freely new to the modding scene, was last a gw user. In simple terms, is there any possible ways of breaking the system to install games in the near future?

I was doing the a9lh but accidentally update to fw 11.. Lol. I think because i left my wifi switched on during the e process
Installed a9lh but then 3ds suddenly became sysnand 11 and homebrew launcher cant be launched anymore
Going to sell off my 3ds now
Or do you guys see any hope?

If you console is A9LH its fine. @Plailect's guide has the correct payload for HBL

I have sysnand back up and i think i have a9lh installed.
But i removed the sd card and booted the system and it showed fw 11. That means the sysnand is updated to 11?

... Unfortunately... I think. I hope you have a nand backup in order to hardmod.

If you booted without an SD card, then you don't have A9LH. Your only hope is a hardmod, or, maybe, to wait.

Other than use hardmod

Remove the sd card. If the 3ds boots, then the sysnand is 11.0 and you have not a9lh. If it shutdowns (or like a hardbrick), then you have a9lh, and all you have to do, is just to rename the payload at the root of the sd card to launch homebrews.

Given that I have A9LH, 11.0 is really nothing for me. Plus the 10.7 payload works on 11.0, you just need to rename the payload to match the version. So in other words not much was patched save for downgrading, svc backdoor, and http download from what I have heard.

They add patches into the Firmware. I mean, it's Nintendo so they know the 3DS from the Ground up!

They CAN add anti-exploitation or force updates.

Mine did the same thing on Luma3DS with emuNAND on N3DS. My O3DS on ReiNAND updated just fine. I think I got a half update though on the N3DS because the eShop has been updated with new/missing titles and all online functions are working. It shows Emu 11.0.0-33 in system settings but I kept getting the same error message. I'm confused.
P.S. I saw on another forum here someone said as long as the firmware is showing correctly and everything is working (eshop, HBL, online functions in game etc) then there is nothing to worry about. I'm not sure how true this is though.

Only the Nintendo Zone Viewer was discontinued, however you can still use Nintendo Zone Viewer in Japan Consoles without the app being blocked to use like in American and European consoles. All other Nintendo Zone functionalitys remains supported.

If you have CFW I read you can still use it, but If you don"t have CFW you can"t use Ninjhax, however if you want to access the eShop you can use ctr-httpwn.

If you have digital content that you don"t want to lose and you don"t want to do HardMod, if I"m not wrong you can install CFW with the method you are going to use and update the A9HL SysNand or EmuNand if you use EmuNand instead if someone else read that use EmuNand and MenuHax instead, in the new console; and then System Transfer from your previous console to your new console with CFW installed.
