Add a splash image (splash.bin) to /rei/ on your SD card. With the a9lh updated i get a black screen with aureinand, i can only launch it pressing "L" and i cant see any screen init

You probably don't have the proper firmware files.I added the spash and i see the splash freezed and nand dont launch, only launch pressing"L" and i have the "updatedsysnand" file
AuReiNAND can boot SysNAND using firmware90.bin, and Decrypt9 works perfectly with it.
But I have to admit that a way to go to "vanilla" SysNAND would be great.
with AuReiNAND hold L and A to boot into 9.0 firm with reboot patches disabled, run d9, profit
well there's the problem, your sysNAND isn't 9.0-9.2I have not found a way to do this yet short of deleting the existing firmware.bin and renaming firmware90.bin to firmware.bin. This is unacceptable because that means ti requires powering down the console and editing the sd card contents every time i want to swap from cfw to decrypt9 and back again. The added hassle and time spend on such actions completely negates the time saved on boot by a9lh.
Yeah no.
I have tried L, R, L + R, R + A and L + A.
Holding L at all results in hanging on a black screen, and R+A functions the same as R. I reach sysnand with the 10.x firm.
well there's the problem, your sysNAND isn't 9.0-9.2needs to be there to reinstall... if that's a problem just downgrade emuNAND and install it from there, that works fine too
It's getting pretty smooth!!! Keep the good workHere is a dev Build of my bootloader with the option to disable the splashscreen, filelogging and screen logging.
For file and screen login simply set the Values("fileLog","screenLog") in the "GLOBAL" section to 0.
For splashscreen settings set splash to 0 for disableling or 1(or higher) for enableling(global or for the payload).
The current default setting for the splash is 0 and for both loggin option 1.

OK, do you have firmware90.bin in your rei folder? No, my sysnand is on 9.2.
No, my sysnand is on 9.2.
OK, do you have firmware90.bin in your rei folder?
is there any CONS in using a9lh?
i cant go to a9lh yet cuz im afraid something may not work...
1. can i use Gateway on a9lhax
2. can i use decrypt9/emunand9
3. can i go to HBL
4. can i use BootCTR
5. can i use homebrews
thanks...
how about gateway run in both sysnand/emunand possible?Nearest I can tell you can still use all of them, but some get significantly more complicated.
To access gateway or the full version of decrypt9 (with the file decryption options) you need to boot into sysnand with the 9.0 firm. This can be done but where as before it was as simple as turning on the console, now you have to mess with button press combos to do it. HBL and homebrew are accessable via your cfw just like before, or alternatively from sysnand with the 9.0 firm if you choose to boot into it. There is a version of bootctr for a9lh for selecting an arm9 payload to launch, or if you want the version for selecting homebrews to launch you can load sysnand with 9.0 firm and then load bootctr that way. You can still have menuhax set up on sysnand if you want.

1. Yes, with the updatedsysnandflag.Have quite some questions since I've not followed the forum closely lately.
1. So once I run arm9loaderhax.3dsx sucessfully, I can boot into Aureinand CFW SYSNAND and update to 10.6 safely?
2. Can I launch Decrypt9 on Aureinand CFW SYSNAND 10.6, to restore my 9.2 NAND?
3. Format System Memory on arm9loaderhax.3dsx results in a brick or a normal firmware?
4. Is there is way to lock Format System Memory altogether on arm9loaderhax?
