So I'm using browserhax (on a european old 3ds, version 10.1.0-27E) and I notice it just loads and loads indeffiently, it never tries to log me in with my nintendo ID... Should I convert to themehax? (I just dun wanna lose my custom themes)

Try it with Hans. It works for me either way using browserhax.

Doesn't the eshop spoof app on the homebrew autoload hans? I'm pretty sure I saw that.

Are you using the Tubehax DNS? That blocks the eShop.

I checked to make sure, No. I don't but the thing is, If I was using it, it would say about a connection error.

I had the same problem when I first installed 2.5. I redownloaded the starter pack, deleted my boot.3dsx and the eshop.smdh and recopied them over. After that it's been working fine. Not sure what the issue was.

Trying this method now.

EDIT: Nope no change at all. Mind giving me your boot.3dsx and eshop.smdh to see if that works?

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
