Only reason i ask is someone wants my ambassador 3ds once i transfer all the content back to a zelda XL. I did one transfer around midday last Saturday and would like to post it to its new owner before the PO shuts around the same time.
Anyone know if its exactly 7 full days between transfers or would it be possible Saturday morning? Not a big problem just curious and cant find an answer anywhere else.

Well, my ambassador 3DS now says I can do the transfer so I set it up to do so but the XL says 2 days remaining for the transfer. I did them both at the same time last week so why on earth is this happening?

Isn't there a way to trick the 3DS into believing the 7 days are over yet?
I don't think so because you need internet connection and your console and/or NNID gets checked by the Nintendo Servers. I assume they just flag your account and then the timer starts.

Even not if i format both devices?
It's not about the system data, it's because the console has a unique ID that Nintendo uses to verify it against their database when a system transfer was last performed. Also the console that sends the system data gets formatted at the end process.
