Hardware Any way to reset 3DS folder count?

Title pretty much says it. Just me being nitpicky really.

The way Nintendo handles the folders on the home screen makes me want to barf.

For those who don't know, if you make a folder it'll automatically be named '1'. If you delete this and make another one, it'll still be called '2' even though '1' doesn't exist anymore.

I have about 3 folders now but if I make a new one now it'll be named '32' and that really gets on my nerves.
Any way to reset it so that a new one goes all the way back to '1'?

I'm equipped with a Gateway and a 9.2 3DS XL with emuNAND.

(While we're at it, any way to reset demo play counts? I know that's stored on the NAND hardware of the system. Maybe Gateway's downgrade feature might do something about that.)

2) Folder name can be change, so what's the problem ? If that gets on your nerves, I bet your wife is full of bruises.

sure, but keep in mind we can hack the 3ds, so it CAN happen, someone just has to put a little effort in to wipe the file
i was playing about with it last week (resetting the demo count), but i moved onto something else, i will try again right now, thanks for reminding me!

i tried it yesterday and i thought it would work, but i must have done something wrong, i will keep trying, i think my idea is correct, maybe I honestly just made a typo in the code haha

i just try to make helpful things, nothing groundbreaking like the stuff the real hackers do, like gw, smea, ctr decryptor people, etc etc - that's way way past my abilities lol

it's just a launcher.dat that you will run (maybe a few times, it can be unstable) - and it will just do it for you, then put the gw launcher.dat back on

this thing came out yesterday and maybe it can do it, or easy for him to do.

haha well, it's up to him no promises. but for someone who wants to do this, it's not really that hard. i did it an ugly way and just deleted the home menu's save data
