I tried to convert a .3ds rom (gateway dump) to a .cia file.
So I used rom_tool (on windows) to extract to a cxi and a cfa file from the rom with this command :

rom_tool -x <directory for extracted files> Test.3ds

Then I used makerom to convert the cxi and the cfa file to a .cia file with a command like this

makerom -f cia -content homebrew.cxi:0:0 -content manual.cfa:1:1 -o homebrew.cia

I got these errors

[CIA WARNING] Common Key could not be loaded, CIA will not be encrypted
[NCCH ERROR] Failed to load ncch aes key
[CIA WARNING] CXI AES Key could not be loaded
      Meta Region, SaveDataSize, Remaster Version cannot be obtained

but a .cia was generated, i imported it with the devmenu, it succeeded but when I tried to launch it I have the black screen error. What did I do wrong?

It might mean [NCCH ERROR] Failed to load ncch aes keyv , you're 3ds encryption key unsure

The Rop MultiLoader is impossible to find. Google gives me only links to the filetrip link which are down. Also for the gateway exploit do you download it from the official gateway page? Is it just the Launcher.dat?

That's kind of it, just have to Set up right with a firmware 4.5 are below .

Although not sure on regional issue of game used .
