I am glad that I am able to access the Eshop for the first time, (although I did have a annoying notification to update my sysnand)

Is it safe to download from the Eshop games though? As some software titles comes with certain firmware updates as we know about.

if your on the latest FW in emunand how is it going to update your sysnand ...it will only run in emunand

It will be available in emuNAND after this, not sysNAND...

People manage to fuck up updating emunand quite often, if my understanding is correct here.

People manage to fuck up updating emunand quite often, if my understanding is correct here.

....no downloading a game from eshop will not cause any "accidental updates", the only people who accidentally updated didnt follow the instructions properly and just rushed trying to update emunand.....you already have emunand set up and have it updated so you wont have any accidental updates unless you go out of your way to update from systemnand

Works great with and 8.1 dumped emunand via emunand tool.
I use the 2gb toshiba that came with the 3DS, fast emunand booting!
What apps do you recommand me to download from eshop?

I don't think it let's you boot classic mode at all. If it does boot, emunand higher than 7.2 won't work.

it has been repeatedly stated that you can access classic mode even without the gateway flashcart (only if you have emunand < 8.0 or no emunand at all). I have 7.x right now and I don't really need eshop or pokebank, so I would prefer to stick with this firmware until I need to upgrade, if it allows me to boot classic mode without the flashcart and still play my games normally.

buuut, now that I think about it, I could simply use update 2.2. duh.

No. It might download an update, but won't install it. It'll just nag you to install the downloaded update, but that's about the extent of it.
