Hacking R4i Gold 3ds Deluxe Edition - Cluster error

I don't know about other members who has got this problem with latest games and some old games ? but when I try and load a game it comes with blank white screen and a error message saying :

Cluster error ???

is there a fix for this or not

I would format the card using sdformatter, then load all your roms back on and try again.

its a clone of gateway, its the same software they just edited some text strings and removed the gateway menu, the "cluster error" text was their .....contribution to the firmware, its most likely they just edited the word fragmentation to cluster(l33t h4x0rs)....the tool should work all the same

also have you made sure your SD card is real, white squares is a pretty good indication you have a fake SD card, test it with H2testw

When running the software tool on windows 8.1 the screen gos dos mode running the program and close stright away....tryed run as admin and nothing ???

yeah its a command line tool, if you don't know how to run command line tools, just formatting the SD and copying the games on should have the same results

but again if you still have issues, check your SD card with h2testw its possible your SD card is fake

the SD card is genuine (Real) and not a fake so it must be (r4i gold 3ds deluxe edition)
until there is a fix from r4i seems wont be able to play latest stuff
or then again may not be compatible with the games

well seeing as nobody else seems to be having these issues, its likely down to something on your end or a faulty card or something.........just to clarify how did you determine your card is genuine? did you actually test it or are you just assuming as it shows up as the correct size in windows.....as that doesn't make it genuine, where did you buy it a proper retail shop i.e pc world or online like ebay, as ebay is full of fake SD cards

Found out its 100% compatible of games are not working with r4i gold

the only game in that list that wouldnt work is tomodachi life, I'm getting the impression English isn't your first language, so i cant really help you understand, without coming across as patronizing.....so at this point I'm not going to be trying to help any further as you don't seem to be understanding what people are saying properly

Found out :
it seems when I play 3ds roms onto my 32gb mircosd I get games when loading with white screen icon and wont load saying "cluster error" and this has happened with loads of different games and dont understand what I am doing wrong ?? I have tred adding this has a example :

0241 - dkcr3ds.3ds

and when placed in r4i gold it comes with white screen and wont load ??

tryed gw3ds tool and it says :


Drive G:

File System: exFAT

Fix fragmentation errors caused by Gateway 3DS exFAT bug ..

Fix fragmentation errors caused by game file fragmentation ..

Done

insert into r4i gold and still not working ???

any advice can help

tryed : SD Formatter 4.0

used it on my 32gb mirco sd card

and tryed : FAT32

played only some

placed on exFAT

played some again but still got blank/white icon when selecting games ??

Hi, I have the same problem with my card, I was using a kingston class 4 card of 16gb on fat32, and when I try to load several games I get the error (cluster error) and other games seems to load and when loading I get blackscreen and I need hard power off, I solve the problem using another card Transcend 32gb class 10, I format to exFat on windows, with this card all games tried work perfect, 2 zelda games, professor layton games, inazuma, phoenix wright and all others are working just great, I recommend use fast card, since the size of the roms is great, I think the problem is the card is unable to read to a certain speed, this cause the error, use class 10 or above UHS card will fix you problem
