Ever since the update that gave the 3DS the ability to use folders, I've had a wierd problem. Every time my unit dies or gets shut off, the folders "empty" themselves onto the menu. It sure doesn't happen to all 3DS's. Before I alert the big N (nothing over there about it either), I wanna know if anyone else has this issue.

EDIT: The Issue appears to only affect folders that contain DSi ware. This isn't a huge issue, but everyone who has experienced this should help make Nintendo aware of it by reporting it on there site. This is still observable as of 5.1.0.0-11.

Dsiware are installed to the system's storage, and 3ds/vc stuff to the sd card. That might have something to do with it. No clue why though.

I figured that might play a role. All folders are actually on the nand, even if thier content is stored on an sd card. in this case, a folder is just a 'tag' and not a true directory.

Yep, same here, it only happens with the folder that contains DSi software, when the battery runs totally drained, the DSi titles apear outside the folder.

I actually did notice it just dropped all of my DSiware out of their folders. It's probably because they aren't stored on the SD or something.
It's not really too big of a deal since I don't have a lot.
