With startpatch and priiloader you can make it movable. This way you can move it to another page of the menu.

There are tools that make the disc channel movable like the others.
So, you can place it on a far away location in your system menu channel slots.
To my knowledge, only the system menu can show a game banner animation.
Even Custom wad's are still based upon existing animations, with the sound and graphics changed

Xfalk, is there a tool to delete or hide the disc channel?
Another even harder question, Can I a make a channel such as neogamma show the disc banner when a disc is inserted (same way as disc channel)?
The only way this could happen is if you patched System Menu to load a homebrew .DOL (or a channel - this might be easier) when you start the disc channel. Then this homebrew/channel would be loaded instead of the disc, and that homebrew would in turn load the inserted disc. Disc channel can't be removed/hidden because it's not a channel. It is a part of the System Menu. That is also why it displays banner of inserted disc, because it is not a channel but a part of SM. It might be possible to patch SM to start a custom channel when you click "Start" on Disc Channel, giving the effect you are after, but it'd probably be quite a bit of work. Maybe someone will do it, but I don't think it's very likely.

Hey guys is there a tool to delete or hide the disc channel? And can I a make a channel such as neogamma show the disc banner when a disc is inserted (same way as disc channel)?
About the banner, this seemed impossible for the longest time (at least nobody was willing to take on it), but now USB Loader GX is implementing this feature. You basically click on a game cover and you get to see the banner, but it's not out yet. There is a preview/demo build that shows the feature but is based on an older rev so it does not have DML support and has a few issues. Once they release the official build, that will be my loader of choice.

Can somebody tell me how to hide or delete the Disc Channel

You can move the disc channel to the last page if you for example patch/hack the system menu with StartPatch/PriiLoader.
NOTICE! - I've seen you ask this question in atleast 3 threads now! Please stop spamming/hijacking threads and in the future you should create a new thread youself regarding YOUR OWN subjects instead, and pleeease use the SEARCH function before even doing that! Because it's kind of anoying seeing the same questions popping up time after time after time, but what's EVEN MORE ANOYING is when they are kinda spammed all over the place, probably just to get a quicker aswer.

+1

Also, there is the "NOOB PARADISE - ask away" thread that you can ask your questions in.

Only in the app, not on System Menu. In other words, that code could be used in something like postLoader or another System Menu replacement to show a banner from a disc, but NOT on official SM.

If you've seen the question each time, you would most likely also have seen that this answer was given each time and was not what he was asking.

EDIT: Although he should indeed stop spamming.

Yep. I completely mis-interpreted the original poster's request. There is nothing like what he wants and unlikely to happen any time soon.

Yes I saw the answers but I felt that I wanted to answer the question anyway, even though many have already answered the same thing.
"So he got a taste of his own medicine so to speak" (swedish expression) :P

But now he / she probably learned their lesson ...
... so back to topic again

I'm not sure if this would work, but snort48+ might be able to move the disc channel to a location not on the system menu (ie. page 20 or something). Don't try this though unless you have bootmii @ boot2 and a nand backup. Snort48+ was mainly intended to be a manager of channels that are saved to an emulated nand, I'm not sure if it has the power to move the disc channel to a phantom page, but even if it does there is potential for errors so don't attempt this without bootmii@boot2.
