Hello,
I'm new to this website but I've been lurking around a lot and found some useful stuff, so I thought I could search for further help by posting.

I have a Wii (4.3E) that has the HBC and I use the NeoGamma loader (.dol file on HBC)
And I downloaded Zelda SS and burned it (perfectly)
Now, when I put the disc in my Wii and launch Neogamma It does not work. I really want to make it work.
Please help, I know I did not provide much information but just ask and I'll (hopefully) answer so you can help.

Why don't you just buy zelda? This is zelda lol loz, the definite last zelda for the wii.

Maybe this is another game that won't work, I've never gotten Monster Hunter 3 to actually work.

obviosly you never visted the rules page. but no one never does when they come here an post "i've downloaded a game".... zelda works fine, got mine last night at mid night, an no problems. with RETAIL or the dumped i've done.(got mine a few days early, friend works at game shop an they got the games yesterday.. release here is monday.unless your as lucky as i was.) :P .

You need the correct ios files installed. It will then install the WM+ thing then take you to the game. If you don't, it just stays at a black screen.

I don't get a black screen. It says "DVD Err(1221), Open Partition". then It says "no cIOS + DVD-R?"
And how can I correct the ios files? And how do I install the WM+? I'm really new and don't know much :/ I tried to install Cf USB loader but It does not show in the apps installed in the HBC channel.

Another thing, I can't buy ZSS because I live in Tunisia and we don't have gaming stores x_x
Yes..

Fixed it for you. When using usb or disc-loaders IOS-versions don't matter. It's the cIOS's that do the trick.

Sorry but that's against the rules. You'll have to find it yourself. Try getting the PAL version.

We can't tell you where to get them, but we can give you the name of the release.
GBATemp is doing it themselves too on the frontpage.

This one should work nicely

That's awesome, I'll start downloading it right away. Thanks :D
But still, how do I fix the cIOS files? And what settings should my NeoGamma have, and which version should it be (R8, R9..) ?

another thing is that I want to know what ModMii does?

ModMii (a Windows application) will download and create the cIOS files you are missing.
Then you place all these files on your SD card and follow the tutorial generated by ModMii (in the folder you have a tutorial text file) to Install the cIOS to your Wii.

So I guess that will help a lot. Awesome, After downloading the ISO I'll do the cIOS stuff. But do I need something else to make it work as It is a WM+ game? (some additional files?)

What speed do you guys suggest using to burn the ISO?
Also what about the Neogamma settings?

no special setting needed (except watching the video, like I explained just above).
no additional files needed.

You launch Zelda the same way as any other games.

If you use neogamma, I don't know if there is an option to block IOS reload (Long time I didn't use neogamma).
If you don't have "Block IOS reload" option, then use "Alternative dol" method.

Both methods are explained in my post above.

Actually I have tons of them, but I did not burn them myself. I bought them for 1 dollar each (yes because we don't have gaming stores here)
Thank you Cyan :) So I'll just burn and do the ModMii stuff, right?

I do know how to Block IOS Reload. It's in the Neogamma settings. But If It doesn't work I'll just do the Alt. Dol thing, the problem is what should I select in the Alt.Dol setting (Disc etc..)

And I don't see any above post, except the one you explained how ModMii works :)

You don't need modmii (but you can if you really want to update your hacks).

Oops, mistaken with another topic where I was helping someone else :P

Can you please use the latest NeoGamma version:
http://gbatemp.net/topic/219243-neogamma-r9-beta-test/

It has better error messages when you run into read errors. And it would tell you if your drive was too new to play DVD-Rs.

And maybe you want to check this thread:
http://gbatemp.net/topic/313365-skyward-sword-keeps-resetting-to-the-menu-1st-wm-game-solution/

I have a feeling that you'll need the info from there.
