ppsspp by m4xw, I've forked it on GitHub and compiled it, with very minor changes to get it "working". This is totally unofficial and I have no plans to probably continue as this was quite out of my league. It was just a fun experiment for me while I was on vacation last week. Also, I only own two games Exit and GTA:LCS so that's all that has been tried by me. Both seem to work okay but both have cutscene issues with video and sound. GTA was pretty laggy but Exit runs well I feel.

To everyone still having problems with PSP games, use this RetroArch package and the PSP core that I've attached.

It works perfectly with firmware 21.1.0 and Atmos 1.10.1.

How so? Is there an update somewhere? I was using it well enough earlier in the week but a botched update to 20.5 forced me to 21 and now hardly anything works.

Gonna edit myself. There is a youtube video that gives instructions to get tinfoil 20 to install and launch on the latest firmware. However, it will not preserve your settings such as saved shops. Furthermore, it won't work properly: it crashes on download/install. I tried to download a small game as a test and it downloaded but crashed at install. Larger games will cause it to crash midway through the install. I'm not sure if this is just a clickbait attempt or if this can be considered the first step in getting this working. I'll link the video now but it doesn't work to download or install so it's not really worth the work for now.

I think the Tinfoil v2 doesn't work on it's own. I have seen reports of it working with Kefir, which is a modified Atmosphere pack.
