Wondering if anyone is interested in porting cool math games (browser games as well) to the 3ds or ds, as this would be sick, games like paperias stuff
Bloxorz, Johnny Upgrade, Red ball, run 3, Moto x3m, Duck life, sticky ninja academy, Jacksmith, Bloons td for ds, Learn to fly, sugar sugar, Jelly Truck, Cargo truck, Diggy, Factory balls, Iq ball, Jelly escape.
and any other classics you guys know, this would bring my childhood back

the only real option you got at this point. Is making a bounty for each game. cause. no ones going to want to port anything if theres no source code or anything.

You could probably run those much more easily on a smartphone from five years ago.
A 3ds or DS is better than a smartphone, gotta trick out my ds or 3ds to do all the thangs, plus it would just be sick playing bad piggies on a 3ds instead of a phone

Maybe they're better than a very, very old phone, but they only have a fraction of the memory and processing power of even a very old phone, and they're substantially more difficult to develop for. No one is likely to be interested to go through the trouble of porting an old app just so it can run very badly on a device with a very limited audience.

Bad Piggies does in fact have a WIP for the 3DS, but only because someone went through the trouble to reverse-engineer the source code. Also, it seems to have been abandoned, possibly because the OP realized how freakin' difficult the job was. https://gbatemp.net/threads/bad-piggies-for-nintendo-3ds-source-port-wip.644794/

most if not all of these are flash games, i don't think anyone's put any effort at all into trying to get flash to work on 3ds, let alone try to decompile flash files to port them to be native

What im preposing, and correct me if im wrong, make em from scratch, while ik this harder than it sounds, take johnny upgrade for example, simple ish game, need the sprites, maybe have ds game maker, and see how far you can get, ik this is a hard process, but it is possible

that's not a port if you're requesting someone remake the whole game from scratch

It’s a lot harder than it sounds

Ds game maker sucks and is held together by hopes and dreams (last I checked) and still has a HUGE learning curve.

This isn’t a small task and will take many hours of someone’s free time. That is a lot to ask without a bounty or any sort of payment

If you start learning c++ now you can probably make a version of your game this time next year, or earlier depending on how quick of a learner or are. There are users here who have made much more than a game with 6 months of learning
