No, on the Ryu GitLab, you have the stable 1.3.3 and the unstable canary 1.3.168, you should try this

probably because the saves are 1.0.0 with cheats on them which still work on base game version but will crash because technically the anti piracy for the game kicked in

it won't work on 1.3.3, you need the canary build. in game tested with update and dlc.

Meh.. i can't even get the cheats to show up in Ryujinx "Manage Cheats" .. the folders and such that i created with the cheats in it.. they are in the "Manage Mods" together with the 60fps mod lol, the 60 fps works but the cheats dont .. and i literally just want Greninjite and more Mega shards HAAAALP

That said, do you think I should try using Canary or Eden? Based on a previous response, they each have their differing issues running the game. I'm thinking that graphics glitches might be more acceptable and less problematic than despawning things?

your structure is incorrect, should be like this. you are doing the eden way of adding cheats. that won't work for ryujinx

eden has worse texture explosions and looks fuzzy, if your pc can handle it stay with ryujinx.

is v1.0.1 actually playable on an emulator? Any time I update the title, whenever I try to load the game, RyujinX instantly closes on me. I tried on both the last updated version before it was closed (1.1.1403) and the newest version after someone picked it up (1.3.3). Both are running firmware 20.5.0. The result was the same for both. But then I'm seeing that all of the cheats coming out are for 1.0.1 so I have to wonder if I'm missing something? Should I be trying the game on another emulator or something, and it would work properly on that one?

I made an account just to let you know that the update does work if you use the (Ryubing) Ryubinx Canary build, but I see others have brought it up since I registered my account.

The version 1.0.1 update for PL:Z-A has been working since at least version 1.3.161 of the canary build and the build is currently on build 1.3.168 as of me typing this. Yes, Ryujinx Canary is the "unstable" test or nightly build but they typically work well, in my experience. You can somewhat think of them as a game's beta before its official release.

But, anyway, I can definitely confirm that the update and DLC works on Ryujinx Canary.
Previously, and as far as I know with the current stable builds of Ryujinx/Ryubing, only the DLC worked, and could be used without the update. From what I read of the patch notes, the update is mainly an online enabler for the Switch and Switch 2.
