The point of a master code is that it is always on. You can't toggle a master code, not with any cheat device ever made; this applies to the Gamecube/PS2/XBOX generation and before, as subsequent consoles became too complicated to create cheat devices for. You cannot claim to be a diehard Nintendo fan and never used nor seen someone else use a cheat device/dongle in your entire life if you're 21 or older. So this begs the following questions:

How old are you, and if you're younger than 21, why are you trying to wrap your head around Switch modding, which is really a difficult subject for underdeveloped brains to fully understand? Where were your parents when you were modding your Switch? If you're 21 or older, then you probably only recently got into video games, and as a result REALLY shouldn't have modded your (most likely) first Switch without knowing the ins and outs of modding video game systems in general. Even the PSP had Master Codes, and is a better first choice for modding gaming systems. Wii is great as well, but requires purchasing flash drives, an SD card, and Gamecube accessories for the best experience. PSP basically requires a large memory stick or microSD card with microSD adapter and that's it to set up. Basically, no matter which answers you give, I have reason to question your life choices right now.

@weilai ,the problem is i updated from 1.0.3 to 1.0.4 and now every time i start the game it asks me for an internet connection which before it didn't do it and i can't play to update my cheats.

There's no such situation on my machine. Could it be caused by your new system update? I haven't updated the new system.
