There was one time a certain boss of mine fucking infuriated me. I was aware of certain dodgy things going on in his business so I reported him to our local authorities. They followed up on my claims, he was cautioned and ordered to correct certain procedures. He didn't get into any real trouble but was forced to perform certain tasks less efficiently from that point on.

There was another time I reported an employer of mine for tax evasion but I did that solely to save my own ass. I don't know how that turned out, only that I didn't get into any trouble myself. Given the small amount of money involved she was probably only fined and cautioned for it.

One year for Xmas, my boss wanted a certain name brand vacuum sweeper (Dyson). Me being a cheap ass bought her a different off brand one. She was pissed and eventually returned it. I didn't get none for at least a week after that.

There were many times I wanted to turn against my boss working retail. Tho she was technically a supervisor, the woman did nothing but bitch and complain every day. Thank god my current job is pretty straightforward where management isn't much of a problem.

I hated this boss too but not enough to report her solely for revenge. In that situation my options were to either lie for her and if I'm caught then we both get in trouble or report her and save myself. I chose to save myself. It was emotionally painful for me.

A word to the wise young men out there who pay attention when wisdom is shared: If you find yourself with a wife who wants a household maintenance appliance for her birthday or a holiday gift, buy it. Buy her the exact one she wants. Because you already won.
