I neglected to mention that I am new to all things to do with chipped switchs and do not understand the lingo. All I really what want to do is backup my games to play on the chipped switch. I might download the odd game to try it out before I buy a physical copy. So if you please don't mind helping me to make my chipped switch safe.do nothing on sysmmc but legit stuff, and all rest only on emummc

True but there's not really any better guides out there, and I figured be good to get they're feet wet and at least learn the lingo.Who maintains that? It really needs some updates. It's hekate_ipl.ini guide is still using official fusee with sigpatches and no fss0 & no mention of sys-patch. The setup of DNS MITM is also a bit incorrect according to the official documentation. There were a couple other things I noticed but would have to look through it all again to remember what they were.
Nxdumptool , you can Google or find it on github, just place the .nro in your Switch folder, then launch it from your homebrew folder. The chipped switch has all the basic software already installed. I been told that a programme like tinfoil would be good to install backups of my games. But what would I need to dump games to a memory card?
Is the nro the games registration certificate?Nxdumptool , you can Google or find it on github, just place the .nro in your Switch folder, then launch it from your homebrew folder.
No, the .nro I referenced is a file type the Switch uses, mostly for homebrew apps.Is the nro the games registration certificate?
Last time I brought this up, I was told the sigpatches.zip linked in the guide also includes sys-patch (and as of now it still does, I just checked), so it works even without fss0 or a patched fusee. Not ideal, though... the guide should at least mention it.Who maintains that? It really needs some updates.
