I looked at some videos and I think that would be best.
I'm trying to focus on other systems now since PS2 dumping is a bit wonky right now. I'll update my OG post with the PCSX2 build I'm using, luckily I didn't update it.

I'm almost done with it.
It is the Gamecube version though. Might do the PS2 version as well at some point.
You must be busy with so many packs but if I may ask is there any chance of a texture pack for Eternal Darkness on the Gamecube? Even if it was down the road that would be amazing. Have a good one and may your work go well Bl4ckH4nd!

Yeah, Dolphin is super easy, you can just go to the advance video settings and enable dumping from there.

I'm looking into it. The problem is a lot of them have pre-rendered backgrounds and depending on the game it can be an issue. Any specific ones you have in mind?

Megaman Legends 1 and 2 are on my list, I tried Vagrant Story, sadly it only dumps garbage files. I'll take a look at some of the others. Not sure if Final Fantasy is worth it since there are so many ports on moderns consoles and PC.
I also tried Symphony of the Night and it also only dumped garbage.
I also think that Legend of Dragoon is getting a full on remaster made by fans, not sure how far it is though.
This game has a remake on 3ds with tons of QOL....

I see you have already done some tests and it an emulator base issue the dumping of textures...

Yeah, PS1 texture dumping is very hit and miss, that's why I've only done a few games so far.
The PS1 is my favourite console and I'd love to do more packs for it.
Same here since my backlog is still big for psx. All the games mentioned are still to be finished
I'm a big fan of Dragon Quest / Dragon Warrior so I figured id mention it but you have a point with the 3ds version. Good luck on your work with psx packs. Releases from you always make my day

By the way, if anyone can provied some advice on how to deal with pre-rendered background seams, I would really appreciate it. If there is some setup in chaiNNer that can help with those, I would be able to do more games with these kind of backgrounds.
I'm having trouble getting rid of the seams entirely, although I've been able to reduce them, I would like to eliminate them completely.
