    What's the best NUC to get as a first NUC, as a NUC noob. I want one that I can have always on - run a monitoring server and some home automation stuff - as well as possibly doing some devving by connecting to it through SSH

    You honestly don't really need anything that powerful for that imo an old 2010 laptop could do it
