    e having only a puny dual core i5 from the 7th gen of the core series

    i also maxed the ram out to 24 Gb total and put in a 1TB NVMe ssd

    If its one of those laptops with very limited storage like 32GB, then I'd prefer using an external disk drive.

    I resorted to getting a tower PC because I had a Lenovo PC that kept running out of storage due to the same thing.

    stock drive I had was a sata drive over the m.2 port, m key and 256 GB

    Previous PC I had was a HP microtower from 2012 running Win '10.
